Ingredients
BATTER:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup Martha White Self-Rising Flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
FRUIT MIXTURE:
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh red raspberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Instructions
Heat the oven to 350°F. Place butter in an 8-inch square (2-quart) baking dish or 2-quart casserole; place in the oven to melt.
Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, and milk in a medium bowl; blend well. Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
Combine all fruit mixture ingredients in a separate medium bowl; mix gently. Spoon evenly over the batter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm.
