Ingredients
No-stick cooking spray
FILLING:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/3 cup barbecue sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
TOPPING:
1 large egg
1 (6 oz.) package Martha White Buttermilk Cornbread & Muffin Mix
1/2 cup frozen whole kernel corn
1/2 cup milk
Instructions
Heat oven to 425°F. Spray a 12 x 8-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with no-stick cooking spray. Cook ground beef and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Add barbecue sauce and tomato sauce; mix well. Pour into prepared baking dish.
Beat egg in a medium bowl. Add all remaining topping ingredients; blend well. Spoon over beef mixture in baking dish; spread evenly.
Bake 17 to 23 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
