2 (7.6 oz.) packages Martha White Banana Nut Flavored Muffin Mix
1/2 cup coarsely chopped, drained maraschino cherries
1 (6 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1 cup plus 1 tablespoon milk, divided
Instructions
Heat oven to 450°F. Line 12 muffin cups with paper baking cups; spray paper cups with no-stick cooking spray. Combine muffin mix, cherries, and 3/4 cup chocolate chips in a large bowl; mix well. Add 1 cup milk; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Spoon batter evenly into prepared muffin cups.
Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 to 3 minutes in the pan. Remove from the pan; place on a wire rack.
Melt the remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon milk in a microwave-safe bowl on HIGH in the microwave or in a small saucepan on low heat. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over muffins.
