A Permanent Display Celebrates the Heritage of Martha White® and The Grand Ole Opry®

WHAT:
Martha White® celebrates its heritage with the Grand Ole Opry® with a Permanent Display in the Opry House. The display is an interactive experience for Opry fans to enjoy, capturing the sound and the highlights of Martha White's 58-year history with the Opry and its artists. Showcasing photos, memorabilia, and the You Bake Right with Martha White® jingle made famous by Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs and The Foggy Mountain Boys, the display embodies the relationship and tradition Martha White® has shared with country and bluegrass music through the years.

WHEN:
The Martha White® Display is unveiled to the public this weekend as the Opry celebrates its 81st Birthday with activities taking place on the Opry Plaza throughout the day, on Sat., Oct. 21. Viewing of the display is available to anyone attending shows at the Opry or backstage tours, and will be open to the public after this weekend's events during Opry House regular hours. WHY:
Martha White® sponsored its first Grand Ole Opry broadcast in 1948 and is the show's longest-running continuous sponsor. A leading manufacturer of Southern baking mixes and ingredients, Martha White was founded in Nashville, Tenn. in 1899.
