Grand Ole Opry
During the 1940's, Martha White's popularity spread — along with that of country music and its many artists - and they all moved up to the Grand Ole Opry together.
In 1948, with an advertising budget of only $25 per week, Martha White sponsored its first segment of Nashville's famous Grand Ole Opry - the country's longest-running live radio broadcast. Martha White has been on the air with WSM-AM and the Grand Ole Opry every Saturday night since, and today remains the show's longest continuing sponsor.
A portion if the historic Martha White logo backdrop - once used on the Opry stage - is now part of the permanent collection at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
